Subject: i thought we earthlings
were supposed to control the grid, not it us. well evidently it did not happen because there was a manual over ride or whatever. but i fear that perhaps increasingly we depend too much on computers running everything, and perhaps if we get too complacent and the grid is connected with other grids all over the world it could happen. you always have to have the human over ride or fail safe. but i don't know because i am a mere user not an IT geek.

Silly, melodramatic fear mongering (as hindsight clearly shows.) But enjoyable for its campy theme. I suppose its moral is valid (if it has a moral.) But I just have a feeling the intent was more to inflame than to warn.

I have to go hide in my bunker now.
